Diego Salinas Rivera

Architect with over 20 years of experience leading projects in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. His career includes more than 100 residential works and over 20,000 m² of office and commercial fit-outs.

His experience also includes significant participation as a collaborating architect on high-impact public and cultural works, including the Museo Ruinas de Huanchaca in Antofagasta, the UDP Student Affairs Building in Santiago, the Auditorium and Graduation Hall at Universidad Mayor in Santiago, and the commercial development of the MUT (Mercado Urbano Tobalaba) project in Santiago.

He brings together business vision, branding and design across every project.

In Uruguay, he has collaborated directly with architect Mathias Klotz on documentation and construction management for the Las Musas project in José Ignacio and the extension of artist Heloisa Crocco's home in Punta Piedras. He is currently leading the Master Plan for the Ocho al Cubo project in José Ignacio, and serves as resident architect for the residential units within the development.

His background spans comprehensive architectural project management, with a strong emphasis on leadership, collaborative work and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

Alongside his technical training, he holds an MBA in Strategic Communication and Marketing (Universidad Mayor) and a Master's in Strategic Communication (ESERP Business School, Spain).

Between 2004 and 2011, he was a full-time professor at the Architecture and Design Studio at Universidad Mayor de Chile, training new generations of architects in integrated design, visual media and multimedia.

His work is defined by a particular sensitivity to context, construction efficiency, contemporary formal language and a commitment to spatial and technical quality.
