Puebla Village

Puebla Village is a cluster of residential pavilions set on a densely vegetated site in Santa Mónica, José Ignacio. Each unit is a simple volume with a pitched roof that draws from the rural architecture of the Uruguayan coast without quoting it directly.

The pavilions are arranged individually yet in conversation with each other, offering privacy between units while sharing the character of the place. Dark timber and corrugated metal give each module a sober, grounded presence that reads well against the surrounding vegetation without competing with it.

The interior opens up: the pitched roof generates a double-height volume, fully glazed at the gable end, visually connecting the living area with the garden. Timber-lined ceilings add warmth, while the white and natural tones of the finishes keep the whole light and bright.

The open plan brings living, dining and kitchen together in a single fluid space oriented toward the garden. The domestic scale of the volume and the precision of the thin-profile windows define an architecture that puts the inhabitant's experience before exterior image.
